Isolation
I don’t think of my work as decoration. It’s closer to capturing moments that don’t know how to exist in words. States of mind, distance, stillness, and the feeling of being somewhere in between clarity and uncertainty. Noir Door Studio started from that space, where art becomes less about explanation and more about recognition.
A lot of what I create lives in a quieter emotional range. Presence. The kind of visual language that asks you to slow down for a second and sit with it instead of immediately trying to define it. I’m drawn to the tension between simplicity and emotional weight.
That approach is what shaped Isolation, one of my original fine art pieces. It’s centered around a lone figure in an open field, surrounded by darkness and muted light. The work isn’t trying to tell you what to feel, it’s more about giving form to distance, stillness, and observation.

Noir Door Studio started with a simple idea that kept getting more defined over time:
Clothing doesn’t have to exist separately from art. It can be the same thing. Actual pieces treated with the same intention as a canvas or studio work. The Black Thorn Hand-Painted Gothic Streetwear Shirt is the first expression of that direction.
Black Thorn is a one-of-one hand-painted shirt with stitched detailing and raw surface texture. It is something that is meant to be worn, but also meant to be observed. Every mark is intentional and there will never be another version of this exact piece.
This approach reflects what Noir Door Studio is becoming. A bridge between fine art and apparel. Instead of treating clothing as merchandise, each release is treated as artwear. Pieces that carry individuality, imperfection, and physical presence in the same way a painting would.
