I don’t think of my work as decoration. It’s closer to capturing moments that don’t know how to exist in words. States of mind, distance, stillness, and the feeling of being somewhere in between clarity and uncertainty. Noir Door Studio started from that space, where art becomes less about explanation and more about recognition.
A lot of what I create lives in a quieter emotional range. Presence. The kind of visual language that asks you to slow down for a second and sit with it instead of immediately trying to define it. I’m drawn to the tension between simplicity and emotional weight.
That approach is what shaped Isolation, one of my original fine art pieces. It’s centered around a lone figure in an open field, surrounded by darkness and muted light. The work isn’t trying to tell you what to feel, it’s more about giving form to distance, stillness, and observation.
Isolation is available as a museum-quality fine art print, produced with archival pigmented inks to preserve tonal depth and detail. It’s made for people who are drawn to minimal, atmospheric artwork. Pieces that don’t overwhelm a space, but instead change the way it feels.
